I had a lovely surprise proposal session a couple of weeks ago, with Jonathan and Elizabeth, who was visiting the city and her lovely now-fiancé for the weekend. Jonathan and I planned for me to meet them at Inspiration Point - but when I showed up, there was a big group waiting to start a wedding rehearsal!
Luckily their wedding planner was completely understanding, and the bride was late, so it went off without a hitch.
We headed over to The Palace of Fine Arts for the engagement shoot right after.

The Palace of Fine Arts is definitely one of my favorite buildings in the city, and the location never disappoints. Those green doors are especially to die for.

Jonathan & Elizabeth's mood was definitely infectious, and it was wonderful capturing their joy. But I also wanted to experiment with some drama, and I got this beautiful shot:
